Specialty Medical Products proudly announces the first comprehensive Enteral Safety System available on the market today. Our Enteral system includes oral dispensers, oral extension sets and feeding tubes that are designed to be incompatible with IV or Luer Locking devices. Additionally, Specialty Medical Products , Inc. Enteral Safety System (ESS) complies with JCAHO’s “Proposed 2006 National Patient Safety Goals and Requirements” and the Association for Advancement of Medical Instrumentation’s (AAMI) “American National Standard for Enteral Feeding Set Adapters and Connectors” © 2000. By utilizing ESS the risk of an unintended clinical line connection is minimized.
